Jesus spent most of his time meeting people and building relationships at the table. In the Gospel of Luke, we often see Jesus either going to a meal, eating at a table with people, or leaving a meal. Here at Renew, we want to host 1,000 tables as a community, and we believe the simple act of sharing life has immense power. It builds relationships, invites laughter, and, most importantly, displays Jesus' love.

We want to be a church that follows Jesus' example of meeting people at the table. And by meeting people at the table, we will transform the places we live, work, learn, and play.

How the 1,000 Tables Project works:

1. Pray - who should I invite to the table?

2. Invite the person to the table.

3. Pray - God, use the table as a chance for them to encounter Jesus.

4. Share a meal, coffee, and dessert, and pay attention to God’s leading.

5. Take a selfie and share it with us so we can pray for you and your friend. Email your story and selfie to 1000tables@renewcommunities.com.
